“The Canadian Dam Association (CDA) annually offers two scholarships to full-time post-graduate students attending a Canadian university or college whose program of study focuses on dam safety and/or the management of dams. This program is supported by the Scholarship Fund through the generous donations of CDA Member Individuals and Corporations.

Scholarships are a powerful tool to support post-graduate students in their ongoing studies. The CDA Scholarships reward deserving students and contribute to attracting and retaining future generations of professionals to the Dam Industry in Canada
Donors will receive an official receipt from the Engineering Institute of Canada, who is responsible for collecting the donation, as a registered nonprofit association.
As part of its ongoing work to support the CDA Scholarship Fund, the CDA Honours & Awards Committee also runs a silent auction during the CDA Annual Conference. All proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Scholarship Fund. Companies interested in donating items for the upcoming silent auction should contact awards@cda.ca.
