CDA Board Nominations Are Now Open
The Canadian Dam Association (CDA) is now accepting nominations for its 2026–27 Board of Directors.
Serving on the CDA Board is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the Association and contribute to the advancement of dam safety, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing across Canada. Board members play an important role in supporting CDA’s strategic direction, strengthening member engagement, and ensuring the Association continues to serve the evolving needs of the Canadian dam industry.
This year, nominations are open for the following positions:
• Vice-President (beginning a three-year leadership progression as Vice-President, President, and Past-President)
• Regional Director – British Columbia
• Regional Director – Manitoba
• Regional Director – Nova Scotia
• Regional Director – Newfoundland and Labrador
• Director-at-Large (ICOLD)
• Director-at-Large
Serving on the Board is both a rewarding and professionally enriching experience. It provides the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders from across the country, broaden your perspective on dam safety and water resources management, develop leadership skills, and contribute to initiatives that benefit the entire dam community.
The CDA relies on the commitment and expertise of volunteers to advance its mission. We encourage members who are passionate about the industry and interested in helping guide the future of the Association to consider submitting a nomination or nominating a colleague.
