A silent auction will be held during this years CDA conference in St John’s Newfoundland, with proceeds going to help support the CDA scholarship fund.
Every year, the CDA awards the Gary Salmon Memorial Scholarship and Student Award of Merit Scholarship goes to deserving graduate students at Canadian universities whose program of study focuses on dam safety and/or the management of dams. Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the CDA Scholarship Fund, which is entirely devoted to supporting these scholarships.
Companies interested in donating items, valued at $250 or more, for the silent auction should contact awards@cda.ca.
