On October 25, 2022, the Ontario Government introduced Bill 23, More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022, which amongst a number of proposed legislative amendments, advanced proposed amendments to the province’s Conservation Authorities Act.  Dam owners in Ontario within areas subject to conservation authority regulation often requires permitting and approvals from conservation authorities for dam related activities.
