Yukon – Guidelines for Mine Waste Management Facilities
February 28, 2023, the Yukon Government released its Guidelines for Mine Waste Management Facilities, following a subject matter expert, public consultation and Indigenous community engagement process from 2015 to 2022. Of interest to CDA members will be the reliance that the Guidelines place on conformity with CDA Guidelines specific to quartz mine tailings management facilities.
