Notice of CDA Annual General Meeting 2024

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Dam Association will be held, in-person only, on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 starting at 3:45 pm ET in the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, 6815 Stanley Avenue Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

A few key points:

• The AGM will be held during the 2024 CDA conference but it is not necessary to be a conference delegate to attend the AGM.
• Only members are entitled to attend the AGM; non-members may be allowed to attend at the discretion of the chair or by a vote by members at the meeting.
• Only members are entitled to vote; membership status will be checked at the door. If you are planning on attending and voting, please check your membership status in advance at www.cda.ca and if your membership has expired, please renew it.

Please arrive at the meeting room early; there may be a line-up to check memberships and to receive your voting card.

If you are unable to attend, you may appoint another member to represent you by submitting a proxy form.

• The proxy form will be available on the CDA website.  Designation of a proxy must be submitted in writing (e-mail is acceptable) to the Secretary-Treasurer via executive.director@cda.ca no later than Sept. 16 at 12 midnight Pacific time. 

The agenda and reports will be available in advance, no later than August 30, 2024, from the CDA website, www.cda.ca.
