The Public Safety Working Group has now delivered the two-day Workshop six times across Canada, in English and French. The workshop has been very well received and there is considerable interest in maintaining the network of dam professionals who must address public safety issues around dams, on an ongoing basis.
The Working Group met by teleconference on September 25, 2013. It is considering ways to improve the existing training materials and, more importantly, develop communication channels for CDA members to share experiences and issues. Contact Tony Bennett at public.safety@cda.ca for more information.
