CDA and the Canada High Commission and Trade Commissioner Office in India organized a series of Canada-Nepal Dams and Hydro sessions between Canadian consultants, instrumentation and equipment companies and IPPAN (Independent Power Producer’s Association of Nepal) on Feb 2nd and Feb 9th 2022. IPPAN shared information on the significant hydropower potential currently under development and construction in the country and their needs to meet these targets in the near future. Canadian companies are well positioned to help Nepalese companies meet their targets. The sessions were followed by B2B meetings organized by the Trade Commissioner, leading to business development and partnership opportunities for Canadian companies and CDA members.
