Presented in French

Le Rendez-vous du Comité Francophone de l'ACB is a periodic event (virtual and/or face-to-face) during which members of the committee receive a variety of presenters and guests to address and discuss various topics related to dams. More informal and interactive than traditional webinars, this activity sometimes takes the form of a presentation, sometimes a discussion, sometimes both.

Water management of the Saint-Maurice River :
at the core of public safety and development

In order to fulfill its mission, Hydro-Québec operates numerous dams, reservoirs and generating stations in some ten water systems throughout the province of Québec. The use of the resource (water) is based on optimization principles aimed at meeting short, medium and long-term electricity needs. All this is done in accordance with legal requirements (environmental and safety), while respecting agreements with third parties and ensuring the reliability of supplies. The reconciliation of these sometimes divergent needs constitutes water management.

No registration required.
