Sunday, October 6 - Walking Tour to Devonian Gardens

3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Join program volunteers for a short walk (1/4 mile or 400 m) from the conference hotel to the CORE Shopping Centre and Devonian Gardens, a one-hectare indoor botanical gardens.  Enjoy more than 500 trees, 50 varieties of plants and a variety of fish in the garden’s ponds.

Join us at Studio Bell on October 6 to network and to learn more about Canada’s National Music Centre, which opened in 2016 and is home to a collection of more than 2000 rare instruments and artifacts, as well as four Canadian Music Halls of Fame (Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Quebec’s ADISQ Hall of Fame (coming 2019), and the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame Collection). 

Catch up with your colleagues and friends while enjoying appetizers and cocktails!  Studio Bell is a short walk from the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

Monday, October 7 - Prince’s Island and West Eau Claire Flood Wall Walking Tour

5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

**No cost to attend.

Your hosts will walk you from the conference hotel to the newly constructed West Eau Claire Delta Gardens and flood wall.  The unique flood wall design ranges from decorative walls to wood draped bench seating. The tour will also feature a walk around Prince’s Island Park.

Monday, October 7 - Exhibitors' Reception

5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. -  Hyatt Regency Calgary

At the end of the day's sessions, join the Exhibitors for a drink and some light appetizers.  With almost 40 exhibitors this year, it will be a great opportunity to visit and meet with CDA's partners and ensure you're staying on top of new technology and products and services related to the industry.

Tuesday, October 8 - Banquet and Awards Ceremony

Come and celebrate CDA members and the industry at the Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony at Gasoline Alley Museum in Heritage Park.  Gasoline Alley Museum celebrates industrial design and tells the story of the automobile from its introduction to popularization.  The two-story museum contains thousands of automobile memorabilia items, most dating from before the Second World War.  The artifacts displayed at the museum date from the turn of the 20th century to the 1950s and include vintage vehicles, unique gasoline pumps and many products and signage from a host of petroleum companies. 

Transportation
Shuttle buses will be available for delegates.  Heritage Park is located about 14 km from the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
